Mercedes-Benz & The Laureus Foundation

CLAIt’s a sad truth that there are a lot of social injustices in the world, and that as a result there are a lot of at-risk young people struggling to create decent lives for themselves. Fortunately, organizations like The Laureus Foundation exist in order to “help young people overcome the limitations imposed by challenging social issues including poverty, homelessness, war, violence, drug abuse, discrimination and AIDS” (from their website).

The Laureus Foundation consists of such programs as “I Challenge Myself,” which is focused on developing fitness challenges for students in high-poverty high schools, and “Fight Back,” a jujitsu program in the South Bronx. Their programs are meant to promote confidence, motivation, and understanding among adolescents. And since 2012, Mercedes-Benz has dedicated millions of dollars to supporting the foundation’s goals.

Here at Mercedes-Benz of Clear Lake, located at 500 Gulf Fwy S in League City, we’re proud to offer you stylish new models from this socially-conscious manufacturer. Come test drive one today!
